Description: Helen had severe damp problems, one of the worst I have seen for a while... The whole of the dining room had plaster coming away from the walls. After our initial survey we found the old damp proof course had failed and Helen had significant rising damp. First we knocked off all the contaminated plaster to a height of 1.5 meters and removed from the property. We then injected Dryrods into the walls and tanked with Dryzone liquid DPC on the base of the floor and adjoining wall. We then plastered the wall with Dryzone renovation plaster and once dry, a skim coat of plaster was applied and new skirting boards fitted. Helen was relieved to have it done and her room once painted looked great.
